While that last option does seem a bit ridiculous, we're not really playing out much at the moment.  We're not savvy enough to find lucrative streams of revenue to support even the smallest of our web based endeavors.  We do have some fees associated with web hosting and album mastering though, so any little bit helps. 

Look at it this way:  When you buy songs from iTunes and the like, independent artists such as ourselves end up getting about $0.60 per song.  So, if you wanted to "pay" us for our free releases, $5.50 would be a bargain for you and we'd earn a little bit towards the fee we paid to get the albums mastered.  

Ultimately, the choice is yours.
